Description:

Two postdoctoral positions are now (July, 2014) available to study the fundamental mechanisms underlying exocytosis and endocytosis in secretory cells using a combination of advanced techniques, such as whole-cell patch-clamp recordings, confocal imaging, super-resolution STED (stimulated emission depletion) imaging, electron microscopy, and molecular biological techniques. Interested candidates with experience in cell biology, electron microscopy, electrophysiology, molecular biology, and/or bioengineering, are strongly encouraged to apply.
