Position Type:Development and function of inhibitory neural circuits
Description:

One postdoctoral position is available in the Synapse and Neural Circuit Unit, NINDS, NIH, to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the regulation of the development and function of synapses in the brain. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. Candidates with research background in molecular and cellular neuroscience are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in cellular electrophysiology and/or neuronal proteomics is a plus. For details, please see https://sites.google.com/site/lulaboratorynih/home. Salary will be commensurate with the salary scale of the National Institute of Health, NINDS Division of Intramural Research ($48000-$51000/year based on experience).
