Description:

We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow with a strong molecular biology background to work with several super-resolution STED imaging experts in the lab for the study of exocytosis and endocytosis.

 

The project may include one or more of the following topics: vesicle docking, hemi-fusion, fusion pore opening, expansion, constriction, hemi-fission and fission, membrane invagination, and curvature generation (see https://irp.nih.gov/pi/ling-gang-wu for more research information). Candidates with strong molecular biology and cell biology training (e.g., experiences in gene knockdown, knockout, plasmid design, and/or CRISPR) are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or will obtain a Ph.D within half a year). Salary is commensurate with experience.
